Automotive and Mechanic Specialist
Clay is the owner of R.A.C.Engines, a restoration, repair and formula car preparation shop in Laurel Maryland. Many of his mechanical and fabrication skills were developed through the New York public school system. After having two children of his own, he couldn’t help but notice that the schools today have very little in the way of industrial arts programs. Clay has always felt a strong need to give back to the community, whether feeding the homeless, developing a cultural arts festival for middle school students or volunteering technical support for the University of Maryland S.A.E. program. His years of experience coaching Lacrosse for both Howard county and the Laurel Boys and Girls Club will be invaluable as an instructor.
