Alan Knezevich, a former Smithsonian Institution Museum Associate Director and Chief Operating Officer, has over twenty-five years of leadership and practical experience in management and planning for non-profit institutions, associations, NGO’s, corporations, and education-based programs. His tasks included developing policy, achieving the strategic goals and core values, attaining financial strength, ensuring organizational success through effective master planning, and reaching visitors, specific audiences, and communities through high quality services, public programs, and presentations. Mr. Knezevich has demonstrated the expertise and the skills to conceive innovative plans or methodologies that help organizations achieve their goals and objectives.

Mr. Knezevich utilized his extensive experience in executive management and programmatic development at the Smithsonian Institution, the National Archives and Records Administration, U.S. agencies as well as international governments, corporations, financial institutions, and cultural organizations. He has also served as an adjunct professor in museum studies and is a sought-after lecturer on non-profit institutional operations, capacity building, audience analysis, and public program development.
